Great place for a buffet meal. Service staff is very friendly and professional. Buffet meals have several choices. Reasonable prices.
I visit there atleast 5-6 times a year traveling back home to Indianapolis from lexington. It's always clean, the staff is very personable, and the food is always hot, plentiful and very tasty.
Seafood buffet? Where's the seafood?? Some limp shrimp, a piece of tilapia, and something that resembled chum.. Maybe some other deeply fried something but not sure what it was.
Usually Ponderosa deserves the nickname "Poundofgrossa" but this place did not suck. Food was hot and edible--some items were downright tasty. Mashed potatoes on the buffet were absolutely awesome. If you are passing through this area, please stop in. Waitress was very friendly as well. This place is definitely worth the stop in for lunch.
Food was not fresh tasting. Lukewarm. This place varies. Best time to go is on a busy day like Sunday. Food is great then. But go on a Tuesday night and it is blah!
